Black Window Inspiration

As I’ve been dreaming up renovating my 1960’s ranch, many things about my design plans have changed, but one thing has not: BLACK WINDOWS. We are seeing black windows everywhere. They are not only trending with modern, minimal designs, but they are a timeless element that will last. The only problem is these pretty things are expensive (double the price when I’ve been getting quotes), but boy do they make a statement.

Today I’ve rounded up rooms that made me fall in love with black windows even more. From steel casement windows to painted wooden frames, I hope these spaces might inspire you to incorporate them in your design.

If a room was a face, black window frames would be that perfect coat of mascara that finishes the look and provides a bit of definition. What do you think? Do you think they are a trend or timeless? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments below.
