If you’ve been following us for any length of time you know the Farmhouse Living gals love our dogs! This is a project we’ve been hoping to take on for quite a while at the Touch Gold Project, but we have procrastinated until a naughty Aussie pup started acting up in the house.

“One thing we did was add a doggy door and separate dog run for our dogs to enjoy when we’re not home. It didn’t add much cost but creates so much convenience (and also has the added benefit of mostly confining the dog poo to one smaller area 🙌🏻).”

“Choose a floor that matches your dog! We chose a stain for our floors that matched the color of our dogs so the hair blends in! Dog hair will always be there so might as well hide it 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Also, invest in cute throws and blankets for furniture. While it’s really protecting the furniture from stains and hair, it also looks cute and comfy!”
