“I love baby gates, they are super cute and really easy to use. ” Said no one ever…

Y’all! How stinkin’ cute is this baby gate. Lucy (our photographer for the store) has the most precious baby Presley. Lucy and her family recently moved into a new home and in this new home they have STAIRS. Stairs and a one year old don’t mix well. When I saw her Instagram story of her husband creating this gate I had to share!

Materials for the Baby Gate

(1) 8ft 1×5
(5) 6ft 1×3’s
1 can of white spray paint

Tools

Miter Saw
Nail Gun
Drill (for the Hinges)

Tip to someone that wants to create it from what we learned, measure all cuts and angles twice!

Total Time to Create: 2 Hours (& lots of baby breaks + 100 wife questions)

Do you know how it was attached to the wall? We have a similar setup at our home with railing on one side of the stairs and a wall on the other side. My assumption is you pretty much leave this closed all the time and couldn’t really have it “out of the way” if not being used?
