    Recently, I read a blog from Rachel at Nourishing Minimalism. The title of her page says it all. Many times when people come into my home they look around to take in the space and comment that they wish they had a home like this, they tell us how beautiful our home is or share how it makes them feel. When they ask me if I’ll help them with their space, I’m always happy to do that. But one of the first secrets I share with friends or clients is the reason they love my home is its simplicity. Walk into a space that is open and light with a few well appointed touches and you feel good. That’s my secret sauce.

  • Farmhouse Spring Tablescapes

    SPRING IS HERE! Today we’re sprucing up the house for Spring starting with the dining room. We LOVE to entertain so when we started thinking about Spring decor of course we wanted to start with a tablescape.

    We started with our real touch tulips. We are a little obsessed these. We keep it pretty neutral all year round, but spring gives us a fun excuse for bright pops of color. We have these on our website in six different colors and they

    It’s no secret that we're coffee lovers at Farmhouse Living. I mean when we were searching for coffee mugs to sell in the store we chose the BIGGEST ones we could find. When Lucy, the team photographer, told me she wanted to set up a coffee bar in the kitchen of her new home I was a huge fan of the idea. Why wouldn't you have a space dedicated to coffee in your house? Today I'm so excited that we're sharing the finished project. It's simple, but I hope it gets your creative juices flowing if you're wanting to put a coffee station in your home.

    I have a love hate relationship with Instagram. I LOVE that it’s full of inspiring people sharing amazing things. I HATE that it screen sucks you into hours of distraction and causes you to feel like you don’t measure up. I want to preface this post by saying that whether you’re in an apartment or a gorgeous farmhouse, you are ENOUGH. Check yourself before you scroll through your feed and remind yourself to be INSPIRED.
